Nu Country TV TV celebrates its 19th series after rising from ashes of 1994 radio aspirant Nu Country FM that went to God on Beer Can Hill in Northcote on June 26, 2000. The station was resurrected at the Paris, Texas end of Collins St in Melbourne CBD in 2001. Veteran actor-DJ Peter Hosking and fellow volunteers created Nu Country TV in 2002 after failing to score a radio licence.

Since then live footage, videos and interviews of country artists, enjoyed vast exposure on C 31 in Victoria and sister stations in Queensland and South Australia. Nu Country TV filmed segments in locales diverse as Austin, Texas, Prague, Port Fairy, Warrnambool, Fitzroy, Glen Iris, Tura Beach and Thredbo.

Now, it enjoys soirees in the C 31 music mecca after it featured in an ABC-TV docco, screened at international film festivals in Nashville and Austin, Texas.
The beat and TV show goes on.
